Friday After Next: Rental Assistance Fundraiser

Join us for a fantastic in-person event on Fri Dec 22, 2023 at 09:30 PM! We are hosting a special fundraiser to provide rental assistance to those in need. This is an excellent opportunity to come together as a community and make a difference.

People are suffering from rent increases nationwide. According to NJ.com, rents in NJ have increased by 33% on average. Although the New Jersey minimum wage is higher than the national average, the National Low Income Housing Coalition reports that a Mercer County minimum wage worker must work 94 hours to afford a two-bedroom apartment for their family. This is why we are hosting a "Rent Party" to raise funds for Tha Block's Rental Assistance Program.
